14 years ago, Katarzyna Denst – a graduate in Architecture and Construction – chose to fully focus on interior design. Today she heads an original studio that specialises in so-called turnkey projects.
Harmonious combination of technical mind and creative passion
Katarzyna Denst holds engineering and master’s degrees from two faculties: Architecture and Construction. Her educational background has enabled her to design multi-dwelling residential developments, detached houses and commercial buildings for many years. Ultimately, however, the architect decided to focus on interior designs that allow her to combine technical and creative aspects. She has followed this professional path steadfastly since 2010, nurturing a passion and a dream to change a clichéd reality into a more personalised one.
Katarzyna Denst Design Studio – a studio that offers turnkey projects
In 2020, the architect launched her own label. This is how Denst Pracownia Projektowa (Denst Design Studio) was set up, specialising in so-called turnkey projects, i.e. combined with the implementation and management of the entire project. In her practice, Katarzyna Denst aims to create functional rather than showroom interiors. The architect ensures that the solutions she proposes to clients are, above all, comfortable and functional, and that they do not lose their charm, despite the passing years.
As she puts it – every project is a chance for her to learn something from the client. Meeting different investors allows her to nurture an openness to different needs, choices and tastes. Rather than shutting herself away in one style, Katarzyna Denst strives to put the client’s expectations and inspirations into a coherent design and practical vision. The aim is always to create a space that is really enjoyed.
