Fancy a harmonious Japandi style décor? Or do you seek subtle elegance with an Art Déco twist? Have a look at the designs by Asia Pryzmont – a specialist in eclectic interiors, combining modern comfort with an intriguing hint of the orient and decorative details. For the past 13 years, the designer has been running her own studio, AsiaDESIGN, which offers comprehensive interior design projects in Warsaw and in the vicinity of the city. Her work is driven by quality, a dialogue between functionality and aesthetics and a thorough understanding of the client’s needs.

An unusual way to achieve a dream

While the creation of spaces has fascinated Asia Pryzmont from an early age, her first professional steps were not at all related to the interior design industry. Before deciding to qualify and set up her own studio, she worked in diplomacy and for the La Mer luxury cosmetics brand. These experiences, although seemingly unrelated to architecture, have proved extremely valuable. It was there that the founder of the AsiaDESIGN studio learnt the importance of high quality service, the importance of non-obvious details and good communication. All of this has had an impact on the studio’s service standards today.

Precision, experience and an open mind – AsiaDESIGN interior design studio

The designer, Asia Pryzmont, has been running her studio for the past 13 years and keeps developing her skills, treating each new project as a new challenge. As she admits, she finds particular pride in unique realisations that reflect a client’s individual story or stand out because of an unusual space. An example of such a design is, among others, a kitchen with an arched wall. In this case, in addition to attention to the proportions of the forms and the choice of materials, cooperation with experienced contractors, i.e. the precision of the concept and execution that is important to the AsiaDESIGN studio, proved crucial.

What values and outlook guide your design work? What are your priorities in creating interior designs?

In design, harmony, authenticity and attention to detail are key for me. I create interiors that are not only beautiful, but also functional and tailored to their owners’ lifestyles. My designs are well-thought-out, coherent and timeless – I do not blindly follow trends, but look for solutions that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Do you have a favourite interior design style? If so, what kind?

I love Japandi, Art Déco, modernism and Mid-Century Modern. Each of these styles is exceptional in its own way – from Japanese harmony and minimalism, through decorative details of Art Déco, to functional and elegant forms of modernism. I like to interpret them in my own way, creating interiors full of character and a unique atmosphere.

What materials and technologies do you most like to use in your projects?

I place emphasis on natural materials – wood, stone, linen, wool. I also like fine metals and glass, which add elegance. Innovative technologies that improve living comfort, such as intelligent lighting and interior automation systems, are also important to me. I keep up to date with all the latest developments by attending industry training courses and visiting interior design fairs both in Poland and abroad such as the Milan trade fair.

What are your experiences of working with clients? What do you think is the key to a successful collaboration?

Understanding the client – not only their taste, but also their lifestyle, needs and dreams – is key. I listen, observe, ask questions and then translate it all into the language of design. Transparency and good communication are essential. I believe that the best projects are created when the client feels part of the creative process.

Can you describe the most interesting project you have worked on?

Each project is a new story, but one in particular was truly memorable for me. It’s a 1990s-style office. It was inspired by the iconic design elements of that decade – vibrant colours, geometric forms, striking touches. I wanted to capture the spirit of those years, but in a modern interpretation, adapted to the contemporary needs of the users. The effect? A space that combines nostalgia, functionality and brings some positive energy to the office.

Do you offer a consultation service?

Yes, I offer consultations – both online and on-site. This is a great option for people who need a professional look at their space but don’t necessarily want to carry out a full makeover. Sometimes one meeting is enough to find the perfect solution!
