Agata Łysiak – PIĘTRO
The PIĘTRO design studio was set up by Agata Łysiak, an interior designer who aims to create original spaces that meet the needs of future residents.
Ambition and independence – how did the Piętro studio come about?
The founder of the PIĘTRO studio, Agata Łysiak, has been a member of the Society of Interior Designers (SAW) since 2024. She is a graduate of the Department of Industrial Forms at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. While still a student, she began working at one of the most prestigious design studios in Łódź – Ejsmont Studio. It was there that she gained her first experiences and practical knowledge. Right after finishing her studies in 2006, the architect decided to go freelance and started her own studio – AIM interior design (AIM projektowanie wnętrz).
Just two years later, the developer Reinhold Lifestyle entrusted her with a major project for a chain of fitness clubs – still regarded by the architect as one of her most interesting challenges. Although, unfortunately, the bankruptcy of the company meant that the project was never realised, one of the companies involved offered Agata Łysiak cooperation in creating apartment plans, designing functional layouts and preparing turnkey finishing packages – one of the first of their kind in Poland. After several years, with a wealth of diverse experience under her belt, the architect decided to return to work under her own name. She set up the Home Concept Interiors studio, which was renamed PIĘTRO Agata Łysiak in 2017.
Following the needs of the investor – how does Agata Łysiak design?
Today, Agata Łysiak’s studio specialises in interior design that stands out for its individual character. The architect focuses on following the expectations, needs, taste and personality of the investors, creating eclectic spaces with soul. She considers her clients to be one of her greatest inspirations, which keeps her practice alive, interesting and fresh.
