ER DESIGN – Ewa Warot

Ewa Warot’s studio – ER DESIGN – is known for its comprehensive and out-of-the-box approach. Thinking at the meeting point of building architecture and interiors is the fruit of the architect’s extensive experience, having worked in London for many years.

Unique experience gained at a prestigious London studio

Ewa Warot, the founder of ER DESIGN, began her apprenticeship at London-based Bernard Stilwell Architects, an architectural studio specialising in luxury architecture and interior design, shortly after graduating with a degree in architecture and urban planning in Gliwice. It was her work with period buildings in prestigious neighbourhoods such as Holland Park and Notting Hill that taught her the importance of a holistic and comprehensive approach, considering the unique fabric of a place.

After five years, Ewa Warot decided to return to Poland to continue her postgraduate studies in Historic Preservation in Gliwice and to start her own business. In 2009, she founded ER DESIGN, a studio specialising in designs for a variety of interiors and architecture. We manage the entire investment process, including obtaining planning permission or change of use of the buildings. We are experienced in the redevelopment and extension of both interiors and buildings, which allows us to carry out comprehensive projects that respond to the investors’ individual needs and technical requirements.

ER DESIGN – comprehensive designs combining comfort with authenticity and beauty

The ER DESIGN studio’s designs are recognised in industry competitions. For the Osiedle Paryskie development in Gliwice, the studio received the Housemarket Silesia Award 2019 in the Architecture category. In its verdict, the jury pointed out that the city had not yet had such an interestingly designed housing estate, which not only stands out for the interesting form of the buildings, but also offers a really high level of living comfort.

ER DESIGN was also awarded the prize in the competition for the redevelopment of the toilets in the Spodek in Katowice, announced by the Association of Polish Architects in 2017. The studio was recognised for its innovative approach and high quality realisation of this project. In addition, numerous publications, including in magazines such as ‘Weranda’, ‘Cztery Kąty’, ‘White Mad’ or ‘PLN Design’, confirm its significant market presence and recognition among professionals.
