Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska – an interior architect
Skilful guiding of the client through the entire project process from the idea to the last details of realisation, individual approach, open-mindedness, and extremely rich and varied experience. This is what distinguishes interior designer Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska – a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology who runs her own design studio and is the founder of the ‘Friends-Designers’ (‘Przyjaciółki-Projektantki’) podcast.
What has shaped the architect’s individual approach?
Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and – as part of a student exchange – at the Universidade Lusiada Lisboa in Portugal. It was her experience at a foreign university that inspired her to focus on interior design. Now an architect for five years, she runs an in-house studio with the goal of creating ideal places to live – regardless of budget or space. She treats every project with great dedication, so that she effectively supports investors at every stage of the process, right through to the move.

Before starting her own business under her own name, Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska had gained a variety of experiences that shaped her approach to creating spaces. She started her first steps by designing with supervision and completing projects on site, which taught her how to do things hands-on. She then went on to design office and residential premises in a duo with Agnieszka Flasińska and worked on behalf of an office specialising in premium interiors, where she gained knowledge of quality materials and best practice. She learnt to operate under time pressure and a high degree of responsibility while working as an interior architect and project manager for a company launching chain catering establishments.
Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska – not just an interior architect
Today, in addition to pursuing her career as a designer, Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska is actively involved in the interior design community. She is one of the initiators of the Building Networking event and the founder and host of the ‘Friends-Designers’ (‘Przyjaciółki-Projektantki’) podcast, which educates and supports the development of the indust
