Latre Design is an interior design studio located in Silesia. The founder, Ewelina Latra-Kalinowska, has a particular fondness for projects in old buildings, which, although they can be challenging, can reward you with an incredibly charming atmosphere.

How did the Latre Design interior design studio come about?

Behind the Latre Design studio is Ewelina Latra-Kalinowska, M.Sc. in architecture – a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology. Before deciding to start her own business in 2018, she gained valuable experience working in small architectural studios, mainly in Warsaw. Initially, she saw her future in cubature architecture, but over time, she discovered that she was much more interested in interior design. Today, she benefits from the knowledge she gained at the beginning of her career, skilfully combining it with art and creative thinking.

Designing in a spirit of respect for the past

The founder of Latre Design is particularly fond of interior design projects in old buildings, such as tenement houses and mansions. Ewelina Latra-Kalinowska is not afraid of the challenges that come with general renovations of such spaces – she knows how much effort it takes to find old plans, learn about the history of the building, and completely modify the functional layout and installations.
