Indesign – Aneta Bańkowska
Aneta Bańkowska – the founder of the Indesign studio – has been designing interiors in Cracow and the Tri-City for nine years. What distinguishes her from others is the strive for development and eclectic approach to creating quality and timeless spaces.
How did the Indesign studio come about? – A journey to a creative independence
Aneta Bańkowska holds a Master of Arts degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, she worked as a designer for a furniture manufacturer and then spent two years working in interior design at an established studio in Cracow. In 2015, she plucked up the courage to set up her own studio in Cracow. She wanted to work independently so that she could follow her own sense of aesthetics and run the whole process on her own terms. In nine years at Indesign, the architect has built up a trusted team of contractors, who help her to smoothly complete project after project.
Unstoppable development and hunger for inspiration – fine and timeless arrangements
The Indesign founder strives to continually develop her style and approach to design. She hopes never to be pigeonholed, so she indulges in constant evolution and shaping of her own aesthetic. In her university days, modernism and its characteristic predominance of function over form were closest to her. Today, when seeking inspiration, she tries to look far more widely. She is keen to explore modernised classics and the townhouse style. She likes fine materials, a touch of art and interiors with lots of detail. She also values eclecticism, which enables out-of-the-box combinations of different styles.
