KOIGA Studio
After many years of building up a diverse range of experiences in the fields of architecture, interior design and industrial design, Iga Kozłowska decided to start working under her own name. That is how KOIGA Studio was founded in 2022, which combines a passion for good design with an ecological approach in its projects.
Diverse inspirations – spaces that create connections
KOIGA Studio’s website features the slogan ‘spaces that create connections.’ This slogan not only stands for well-designed, user-friendly interiors, but also for a fusion of diverse inspirations and perspectives. In her designs, Iga Kozłowska strives to combine a pragmatic approach with the art of striking design. She is inspired not only by the needs of the people she creates for, but also by nature, history or psychology.
Realising the profound impact the space in which we live and work has on our mental health, the architect is aware of her responsibility. Her work ethic is also of great importance, especially when it comes to issues of minimising the negative impact of architecture on the environment. And in the process itself, she puts a strong emphasis on good relationships with both clients and contractors.
The long road to independence – how was KOIGA Studio created?
As a child, she dreamt of studying medicine and tenaciously pursued this direction until the end of secondary school. Three months before her secondary school graduation, she dared to change her mind and set her sights on architecture. She has always had a love of art, handicrafts and crafts of all kinds – from painting, sculpture and jewellery making to furniture restoration. Her mother supported her in following her own path. Although she found the clash with the realities of the industry and the market difficult, she did not give up after her first internship and sought new challenges for herself over the following years. Today, she creates a good working environment herself by running her own KOIGA Studio.
