In 2018, Paweł Maj took the decision to combine his passion for photography with his professional experience in the real estate industry. This led to the creation of the Szerokąty interior photography studio, a company that has been featured in numerous publications and collaborations.
A long-standing affair with photography
He received his first (analogue) camera as a gift 25 years ago. Little did he know that his life’s adventure was just beginning. Paweł Maj has been running his own interior photography studio since 2018. As of today, he has worked with numerous architects and designers from all over Poland. His portfolio includes contemporary residential interiors as well as some unusual gems, such as a photo shoot in cooperation with the Arche Group, which shows the historical interior of a hotel in a historic monastery complex from the 19th century.
Combination of passion and experience
Paweł Maj graduated from the ‘Kwadrat’ International Photography Forum in Wrocław. He has also gained knowledge at numerous photography workshops led by, among others, Joanna Kinowska and Tomasz Lazar. Initially, however, he treated photography as a hobby. For several years, he worked on housing projects. It was then that he came up with the idea of combining his passion with his experience in the real estate industry to create professional interior design shoots. He soon discovered that it gave him much more satisfaction.
