The Minterior studio was set up because of a great passion and the need to create. Marzena Miszczyk, its founder, is a qualified interior designer with extensive experience in the broad field of design. Nearly 20 years ago, she decided to fully concentrate on the interior design industry. Ever since, she has been constantly taking on new challenges, creating timeless designs that are distinguished by a harmonious combination of respect for the past and a modern twist.
‘By changing interiors, we change our whole life!’
This is the motto of the Minterior studio, managed by Marzena Miszczyk. She describes her profession as more than just a job. Mindful of the tremendous impact that changing one’s environment has on one’s life and well-being, she strives to lend her knowledge, experience, and sensitivity to making people’s everyday lives better. She finds the metamorphoses of seemingly unfriendly spaces most fascinating. She regards each project as a new adventure. And she always makes it a priority to create spaces that reflect the investors’ personality.
The journey to finding one’s place – how did the Minterior studio come about?
Marzena Miszczyk started her own business at the age of just 20. At the time, she explored many different forms of design – from product design to graphic design – but the real magic happened when her first client asked her to design the interior of a house. Venturing into an unknown world, Marzena Miszczyk discovered a great love and passion for this area of work. She decided to study interior architecture, graduating with honours. Combined with the master’s degree in business management previously achieved, these became the basis for opening a new chapter in her life.
The adventure of interior design, which began in 2005, has continued in the architect’s life to the present day and, despite the passing of time, continues to fascinate her enormously. Running her own Minterior studio, Marzena Miszczyk draws on her varied experience from the early days of her path and continually expands her portfolio to include more unusual projects, gaining a circle of satisfied investors around her. How does she perceive her work after almost two decades? She told us about it by answering a few questions.
What values and outlook guide your design work? What are your priorities in creating interior designs?
Our priority is to create interiors that harmoniously combine functionality with aesthetics, reflecting the character of the owners. We believe that a well-designed space improves the quality of life, which is why every project is about individuality, authenticity, and attention to detail.
Do you have a favourite interior design style? If so, what kind?
The modern classic style, which combines classic elegance with modernity, is closest to our heart. We love interiors with a soul but also with a fresh, contemporary style.
What materials and technologies do you most like to use in your projects?
We prefer natural materials, such as wood and stone, because they bring authenticity to interiors. At the same time, we are keen on using modern technologies to make interiors beautiful, functional and ecological.
What are your experiences of working with clients? What do you think is the key to a successful collaboration?
Open communication and trust are the key to success. Each project is a journey together in which we listen to the client’s needs, advising on solutions that perfectly fit their lifestyle.
Can you tell us about the most interesting project you have worked on?
The renovation of the historic building was a unique challenge for us – combining original elements with modern solutions to create a space that combines history with modernity. We are also currently delighted to be designing a unique villa in Marbella, Spain, set amidst golf courses with breathtaking sea views. We are doing a complete makeover from scratch, which is what I love most! These spaces will be transformed into true oases of timeless elegance – with a touch of Spanish character. The interiors will be in perfect harmony with the personality of the owners.
Do you offer a consultation service?
Yes, we offer design consultations for advice on the arrangement, choice of materials or colour scheme. This allows us to better understand the client’s vision and help bring it to life.
